Making a Difference

I've mentioned before that my dad is a member of the American Legion. This great organization provides countless hours of service to the community. Have you ever attended a funeral where Military Rights were performed? You have the American Legion to thank for that.
Right now, the American Legion of Utah is asking for our help~ they are supporting a contest that is being sponsored by Home Depot, and will benefit the Utah State Veteran's Home.

Is It Spring Yet?

I guess not.

7 more inches of snow last night.

We're all getting anxious to take our new (to us) trailer on an excursion.

There's just one tiiiiny little problem:

But~Only 35 days until SPRING BREAK!

Note to husband  self: If the house you are interested in buying comes with a snow-blower...

Dare I?

This set of dish towels has been languishing in the bottom of my cedar chest for nearly 30 years.

 My mother made these for me 30+ years ago.

I'm thinking it's high time they saw the light of day!

I'm just not sure I can bring myself to actually use them~ but it seems a shame for them to just sit in the bottom of my cedar chest.
(With another set of dish towels, and several sets of pillowcases!)

I figure they will either just rot away...

Or I can put them to use and enjoy them!

I have thought about framing them...but I would have to cut them down, and I'm not sure I want to do that~ they are nice, big towels!

  Right now, they are just sitting, waiting for me to decide...

Such a dilemma!
